What are 360 Eyecare's new safety standards and precautions being taken during this time; and what can you expect at your visit?
As we re-open all of our 360 Eyecare locations, we want to ensure you that we are taking the highest levels of precaution and safety upon resuming regular service. We are following a set of rigorous Guidelines, which are summarized below.
1. Screening
All patients will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19. Patients’ temperature will be taken at entry with a contactless IR thermometer
2. PPE
All of our optometrists and staff will be required to wear a mask and face shield at all times. We require all patients entering the office to be wearing a mask. If you don’t have one or forgot it, don’t worry, one of our staff will provide you with one!
3. Sanitation
We take sanitation just as seriously as PPE. We have our own Disinfection Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), which we use to keep track of disinfection of all of our surfaces and equipment. Our Optometrists and staff follow strict hand-washing and patient interaction procedures. We kindly ask all our patients entering the office to sanitize their hands with our provided hand-sanitizer.
4. Social Distancing & Additional Precautions
Appointments are being booked in a way to ensure as few patients as possible are present in the office at any given time. Social Distancing will be maintained in the office and we have re-arranged our seating to reflect that too. We will be suspending new contact lens fittings at this time.
